New Automated Water Meters
The water department is in the process of automating all of it's water meters - Installation of auto-read meters will help eliminate the need to make duplicate trips to homes or businesses that do not have "easy access" to read the water meter and eliminate most visual reads allowing for a much more efficient and accurate data collection process - Some of our customers all ready have the new auto-read meter installed but the majority of our customers still need their old water meter replaced - Installation of the new meter normally takes five minutes - If you are in need of the new auto-read meter please call city hall and schedule an appointment - If you are uncertain if you need a new meter, call city hall and we will check for you (906) 563-9961 ext 201
