Annual Norway Area Garage Sale Saturday, May 19.
Over 100 sales in one day. Registration will be $5 for participants, starting April 15. Maps will be available Friday before the sale at area businesses and here Thursday (click) before the sale. Contact Chris for more info: 906 563-8253 after April 13.
 

Annual Sewer Credit Sign-up
Sign up at city hall for the annual sewer credit for the months of June, July and August now. Print the form out here and send or drop off at city hall. The city realizes that in the summer months much of the water usage is for your yard, garden. and vehicle washing. The water for these uses does not go down the sewer system to be treated.  Bottom line is a break for your sewer usage cost. Questions? Call city hall for more info.
 

Sealed bid City of Norway Auction
Sealed bids are due on Friday, May 18 at 4 pm in city hall. Items are available for viewing at the department of public works building, 400 10th Ave. view items now through Friday, May 18. Print out auction sheet here.

City of Norway is offering firewood for $100 per load. Includes delivery with 10 miles of the public works building on 10th Street. Call 906-563-9961 for more information.
ORV's in the city limits
To operate an ORV in the city limits of Norway without a guardian you must be:
18 years old or possess a valid driver's license and ORV Safety Certificate. Violaters will be cited with fines and fees in excess of $100.

Riding adjacent to the railroad tracks is trespassing on railroad property and subject to charges.

Copies of the ordinance & maps are available at the Norway Police Department during regular office hours.
