Christmas in Norway


The magic of Christmas is coming to Downtown Norway!

Join us Friday & Saturday, December 5th & 6th, for a weekend filled with lights, laughter, local shopping, and holiday cheer.

Norway businesses will join the celebration in their own ways with festive windows, raffles, youth group fundraisers and pop-up vendors galore!

Schedule of Events

FRIDAY:
10:00 AM-4:00 PM - Enjoy daytime Downtown business promotions.

4:00-7:00 PM - Downtown businesses will be open late with vendors, student fundraisers, giveaways, refreshments, and more holiday fun!

5:30pm - Tree Lighting at the City Hall Bandshell and Firework show.

Christmas Parade on Main street following the fireworks.

Parade drops off Santa & Mrs. Claus as they arrive at City Hall for visits and photos.

Free kids gift raffle entry and candy cane from Mrs. Claus.

Cheer Team set up with Hot Chocolate near City Hall entrance.

SATURDAY:
2:00–6:00pm - Jake Menghini Museum - Hosting Christmas Eras at the Museum. Victorian Christmas, Pioneer Christmas, and
Mid-Century Christmas, with live actors.

Northern Interstate Bank - (8am-5pm) Refreshments & giveaway items for customers.

Norway Pharmacy - (9am-6pm) 20% off gifts (excludes OTC, Candy, & handmade goods.) - Giveaway Basket, and cookies.

Knight Owl - (3pm-9pm) $4 off pizzas and $2 off kid’s meals.

Swedish Passport - (Friday 10-7, Sat. 10am-5pm) Sampling Glogg and Nordic cookies, 25% off one item of choice, in-store specials; 10-25% off and new items for Christmas.

Rainbow's End Alpaca Farm - (3-7pm) Store sale & refreshments. Vendors joining include, Up Sweets, River Street Baking Co. Studio 829, Schine & co Studio, & Vanessa Mitchells Crochet.

Cutting Edge Salon - (3-7pm) Sale items and refreshments. Vendors Hinky Wilcher Pine Mountain Jewelry, Missy Deirken-Spade with Willow Gifts, Simply Devine Soy candles with Renee.

Mister Mom’s - (3-7pm) Partnering with Norway Boys Baseball, selling BrewyLouie Sausage gift boxes and hosting Meat Basket Raffle.

Peterson Electric - (3-7pm) Light refreshments and a beautiful holiday display with vendor, Twin Creations.

Norway Vulcan Senior Center - (3-7pm) Selling crafts, drinks, and snacks. Hot chocolate and coffee available with additional
vendor, Dough Re Mi.

Mike’s on Main Restaurant & The Viking - (3-7pm) Partnership hosting the Great Norway Christmas Cookie Exchange. Free for Participants. Must pre-register to participate. More information on The Viking FB Event.

Norway Mercantile - (3-7pm) Staying open late, vendors possible. Stop in and say hi.

Danielson’s Greenhouse - (3-7pm) In the Greenhouse: Holy Spirit & Norway Art Students selling self-made art. Hosting free face painting for donations. Hot cocoa bar with apple cider. Velveteen Cake Co. Cookies.

Thirsty Whale - (3-7pm) Baked goods, homemade crafts, and gift baskets being sold as a fundraiser for class of 2029.

Kelley’s Rock Shop - (3-7pm) In store specials, and live music from Norway's own folk rock band Moon Ticket. Local artists and crafters Moonflow Studios.

UP Health - (3-7pm) Stocking stuffers and products with Christmas in mind. Vendor Alyssa del Cruz is selling cards and making custom cards on the spot.

Knights of Columbus Norway - (3-7pm - Outside UP Health) Selling Christmas trees (home delivery), handmade glass ornaments, Christmas yard signs. Proceeds support our annual “Coats for Kids” program. Supplying free coats to children in need.
