Maule's on Main brings a full breakfast, coffee, and lunch menu to the heart of Downtown Norway, in a space built around one simple idea: gathering together. From all-day breakfast sandwiches and fluffy pancakes to hearty burgers and skillets, there's something for early risers and lunch crowds alike — with a dedicated kids' corner so families can settle in and stay a while.
Maule's on Main is a genuine labor of love. Owner Corrie Maule and her husband Jeff spent roughly three years rehabilitating the space before opening their doors — Jeff leading the remodel himself — a long journey that shows in every detail. Family photos decorate the walls throughout the dining room, featuring generations of the family that inspired the space. Doors open early: Wednesday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (closed Mondays and Tuesdays). Stop in for breakfast served all day — try the Main Street Breakfast Sandwich, a Low Carb Breakfast Bowl, or a stack of blueberry or chocolate chip pancakes — or come by for lunch, with burgers, Philly steak, chicken salads, and comfort classics like Hot Beef on a Bun and Corrie's Crazy Cheese omelet. A rotating specials board adds daily favorites like Liver & Onions and Beef Stew over Biscuits, and coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fresh lemonade with free refills round out the beverage list.
The pastry case is worth the trip on its own — but be there early. Maule's bakes fresh daily, with a rotating lineup that's included cinnamon rolls, blueberry and cinnamon scones, apple and cherry turnovers, raspberry-filled and Bavarian-filled donuts, cookies and cream donuts, a Reese's donut, cinnamon twists, and raspberry pastries — plus individual fruit-topped cheesecakes and homemade white bread for something a little different. Pastries tend to sell through quickly once they hit the case each morning, so get in early for the fresh picks. And for anyone planning something bigger, Maule's Catering handles weddings, showers, graduations, and more, with the space itself available to rent for private events.
